The BICOLOR ANTHIAS is the most commonly seen anthias in
Hawaii with orange coloring on top half of body, and a purplish white on bottom
half. They can occur in as little as 15’
but prefer depths greater than 40’. They
typically live in large colonies along walls or around isolated coral
heads. When you see these fish, look for
a Yellowmargin Moray eel because they tend to share the same crevice in the
